The Center for Mind-Body Medicine’s approach to wellness is grounded in practical, evidence-based skills for self-care, nutrition, self-awareness, and group support. Mind-body skills (such as meditation, biofeedback, guided imagery, and self-expression in drawings, words, and pictures) are scientifically validated to reduce stress and restore physical and psychological health. The mind-body approach heals individual trauma and builds community-wide resilience.\n\n \nMeditation comes from the Sanskrit word meaning… “take measure of”\n\n\n\nMedicine comes from the Sanskrit word meaning… “to care for “\nThe Center for Mind Body Medicine uses evidence-based skills for self-care, nutrition, self-awareness, and group support to promote wellness. This approach heals individual trauma and builds community-wide resilience.\nYOU WILL EXPERIENCE : \n\nGuided Meditations\nNew skills each week to tap into the mind-body connection\nCommunity\nGrowth and Awareness\n\n\n\nHow To Register\n\nContact the office at (206) 919-0175 and ask to be scheduled for Spirituality Mind-Body Medicine\nLog into your patient portal, go to the ‘Class Registration’ tab, and complete the Mind-Body Medicine registration form!\n\nThere are 2 billing options:\n\nRegence, Premera, LifeWise, or another BlueCross BlueShield plan that Dr. Tara J Shelby and/ or Dr. Tiffany Jaramillo is considered In-Network for:\n\nWe will bill your insurance for each class with codes 99215+99417×5\nCopays, deductibles, and coinsurance balances will be due upon notice. We urge and encourage you to verify your coverage and avoid a surprise bill! If you have a high deductible, you can waive your right to insurance billing for this group and pay the cash rates at the time of service instead.\n\n\nDr. Tara J Shelby and/ or Dr. Tiffany Jaramillo is Out-of-Network, uninsured, or you are choosing to pay out-of-pocket:\n\n$350 will be charged to your card on file at the time of service for each class\nAll 8 sessions can be purchased for $2,600 (must pay in full by the first class to receive this deal).\n\n\n\nSpace is limited, so if you are unable to attend a class for any reason, $100 will be charged to your card on file (not billable to insurance)\n \nRESERVE YOUR SPOT NOW IN THE PATIENT PORTAL\n
