June 4th 2026, Tuesday – “Bitters to Support Detox Pathways”

 

Discover the art of crafting herbal remedies tailored to address and prevalent health issues in this rotating herbal medicine series. Sessions are taught by Dr. Zech, a registered herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild.

Each 2-hour session delves into a distinct health condition, providing hands-on instruction on herbal medicine formulation

Leave the session with your own herbal creation!

Dive deeper into the world of bitters with Herbal Detox & Kitchen Medicine in an exploration of how herbs and food work together to support digestion and the
body’s natural detox pathways.

Learn how the liver, digestive system and elimination pathways work together to support natural detoxification and how specific herbs and foods can enhance
these processes in a sustainable, everyday way.

You’ll leave with practical tools, Delicious recipes and inspiration to bring herbal medicine into your daily routine.

How To Register

  1. Contact the office at (206) 919-0175 and ask to be scheduled for the Herbal Series.
  2. Log into your patient portal, go to the ‘Class Registration’ tab, and complete the Herbal Series registration form!

Below is the nuts and bolts of how we charge for program listed on the registration page online.
There are 2 options:

  • Regence, Premera, LifeWise, or another BlueCross BlueShield plan AND you have confirmed that Dr. Meghan Zech is considered In-Network for my particular plan.

We will bill your insurance for each class with codes: 99215+99417×5

Copays will be charged at the time of service for each class.

Deductible and coinsurance balances will be due upon notice.

We urge and encourage you to verify your coverage and avoid a surprise bill!

*If you have a high deductible, you can waive your right to us billing your insurance for this group and pay the cash rates at the time of service instead.

Dr. Meghan Zech is Out-of-Network for your insurance plan, or you are uninsured, or you are choosing to pay out-of-pocket for this physician-led group medical training. $350 will be charged at the time of service for each class

All 4 sessions can be purchased at a discounted price of $325/class for the entire four-part series will be collected in full by the first class. Scholarships available, see front desk for more details

Patient Responsibilities and Commitment for Participating in Group Appointment Series 
– The group medicine series requires attendance of every appointment in the series for maximal education and physiological benefit.
– If you miss an appointment in the series, you understand that you will incur a $100 cancellation fee per missed appointment.
– We require at least one week (or 7 days) notice to drop the entire series without a fee.
– Ex: If your group class begins on the 20th, you would need to cancel the entire series the week before on the 13th, since the policy applies to 7 days to avoid cancelation fee
– The 1 week cancellation policy applies to the entire series, not per appointment.
– If you cancel the series outside of the 1 week cancellation policy, you will incur the $100 missed appointment fee for each appointment in the series.
– Ex: if it’s a 4 week series you will owe $400, if it’s an 8 week series you will owe $800
Space is limited so if you are unable to attend a class, please understand that a $100 cancellation fee will be charged to your card on file (and is not billable to or reimbursable by insurance).
